Andalucía weekend weather forecast February 19-22: Sunshine returning after a blustery start
Cooler coastal days, warmer inland by the weekend
After some grey, blustery days across Andalucía, the sun is finally breaking through again to remind us that warmer weather isn’t far off. As the strong winds ease and the skies clear, the region can look forward to a pleasantly mild and sunny spell heading into the weekend. Daytime temperatures will gradually climb, especially inland, with a touch of early spring warmth returning by Saturday.Thursday February 19
Andalucía weather forecast, Thursday February 19The day starts with a lively breeze across the eastern provinces, especially around Almería, where very strong gusts are expected early on. Skies stay mostly clear, though there may be a few morning clouds or light showers in the hills and near Tarifa before the air dries out as the day goes on. Temperatures dip nationwide, and the Mediterranean coast will feel noticeably cooler than earlier this week. Westerly winds ease through the afternoon, shifting to a calmer northerly flow towards the evening.
Friday February 20
Andalucía weather forecast, Friday February 20A much quieter day across Andalucía. Skies stay bright and clear, with gentle easterlies taking over. It’s a touch chilly to start, but by afternoon temperatures climb nicely, especially inland around Córdoba and Jaén. Coastal spots remain steady and pleasant, while inland towns notice a definite lift in warmth compared to Thursday.
Saturday February 21
Andalucía weather forecast, Saturday February 21Saturday brings a real taste of early spring again. Clear blue skies prevail across most of the region and temperatures rise further, reaching around 22 degrees in both Seville and Huelva. Winds stay light, though the Strait of Gibraltar sees moderate to occasionally strong easterly gusts. It’s a perfect day for getting outside, with widespread sunshine and comfortably warm conditions across western Andalucía.
Sunday February 22
Andalucía weather forecast, Sunday February 22The week finishes with more sunshine and calm weather throughout the region. Granada wakes to a mild morning of around 9 degrees, reaching a delightful 23 by mid-afternoon. Cádiz and Málaga also enjoy clear skies and light breezes. The mild, dry pattern continues, rounding off a fine weekend of settled weather for late February.
Temperatures look set to hold steady into next week too, with highs remaining comfortably above average for the season and plenty more sun on the horizon for Andalucía.
