Another unsettled week with strong winds at times: Alicante weather forecast January 26-29

Cloud cover will increase as the week progresses, with some rain and strong winds at times

This week, the Alicante Province will see more rain, and the strong wind is here to stay for now. Temperatures will fluctuate throughout the week, but that wind will make it feel colder than the numbers suggest.

Monday January 26

The day starts fairly bright with some sunshine, but cloud will build as the afternoon goes on. Temperatures will rise a little, though moderate to strong westerly winds could take the edge off any warmth. Gusts may be particularly strong inland and along central and northern stretches of the coast, especially earlier in the day.

Tuesday January 27

Even cloudier conditions return with light patchy rain inland. There will also be the chance of the odd shower along the coast. Temperatures won’t change much. Winds stay moderate from the west, with strong gusts inland and possibly along the coast too.

Wednesday January 28

A greyer and colder day overall, with rain more likely across the region. Temperatures will drop noticeably. Snow is only likely on higher ground, and even there it should turn back to rain later in the day. The wind will also continue to be a problem, making it a very wintry midweek in Alicante.

Thursday January 29

The rain continues into Thursday, affecting the northern inland areas more. Although the rest of the Province may experience some showers throughout the day as well. Temperatures begin to climb again, but it will stay windy, particularly away from the coast.

It’s another changeable few days for Alicante in what feels like the most unsettled January in a long time. The wind plays a big role again this week, so take care near the coast and exposed areas. Make the most of the dry spells and when the temperatures drop, it's the perfect excuse to snuggle up and binge-watch a series before more spring-like weather returns.
