The neighbours association of El Mojón organize the annual fiestas celebrated in honour of San Roque during the early part of August, as well as a variety of sociable activities throughout the year.
El Mojón is a pedanía of San Pedro del Pinatar (Región de Murcia) and is one of the four coastal pedanías within the municipality.
To the north it borders with the Alicante municipality of Pilar de la Horadada (Comunidad Valenciana), to the south with the parque natural de las Salinas y Arenales de San Pedro del Pinatar.
The most outstanding feature of the pedanía is its glorious beach, backed by pedestrian walkways and bridges across the sand dunes and into the residential accommodation.
