August 29 & 30 Charity golf tournament at Roda Golf Resort

Play for a cause this summer and help raise funds for rare disease research at the VIII Isabel Gemio Foundation Tournament

Registrations are now open for one of the most anticipated charity sporting events of the summer. The eighth annual golf tournament in support of the Isabel Gemio Foundation will take place at Roda Golf & Beach Resort in Los Alcázares on Friday afternoon, August 29 and Saturday morning, August 30.

This year’s event is once again organised in collaboration with The Magic Golf and the Duchenne Dystrophy and Rare Diseases Aid Association. All proceeds go toward supporting research into Duchenne muscular dystrophy and other rare conditions.

The entry fee is €60 for adults and €45 for juniors and Roda Golf members. This includes tournament participation, green fees, refreshments, prizes and entry into a prize raffle. Advance payment is required and can be made directly online, where players can also reserve a buggy if needed.

Up to 80 players can register for the Friday afternoon session, while 116 spots are available on Saturday morning. If more players sign up, a waiting list will be created.

Registration will remain open until 11am on Thursday August 28, unless fully booked beforehand. In fact, last year’s Saturday session sold out more than two weeks in advance, so early registration is strongly recommended.

Cancellations are permitted up to 72 hours before the event, with a refund provided in the form of a wallet voucher. No refunds or cancellations will be accepted after this deadline.

There will be trophies for the top two players in each category, as well as a separate prize for the overall Scratch winner.
