Daytime temperatures will begin to fall across Alicante but it will still remain unseasonably warm

Beach days come to an end in Alicante: weather forecast Nov 16-19

Alicante has broken all sorts of weather records this month, registering some of the hottest November days seen in decades. Earlier this week, several areas exceeded the 30ºC mark, but sadly these lofty heights won’t be reached over the weekend.

Nevertheless, it will still be unseasonably warm ahead of a cold snap that’s due to set in next week.

Thursday November 16

Mostly clear skies are forecast on Thursday with some intervals of high clouds. Both day and night-time temperatures will dip ever so slightly and generally light winds will pick up strength from time to time during the day.

Minimum and maximum temperatures on Thursday

Alcoy: 13ºC to 26ºC

Alicante: 15ºC to 25ºC

Denia: 12ºC to 26ºC

Elche: 12ºC to 27ºC

Orihuela: 12ºC to 28ºC

Friday November 17

It will be a little more overcast on Friday as the temperatures continue to fall, but the mercury will still remain in the mid-20s for the most part. Variable light wind with a predominance of the west component during the morning.

Alcoy: 13ºC to 24ºC

Alicante: 14ºC to 22ºC

Denia: 14ºC to 23ºC

Elche: 13ºC to 25ºC

Orihuela: 13ºC to 26ºC

Saturday November 18

A very overcast start will give way to mostly clear skies on Saturday. Daytime temperatures will get a boost inland but will continue to drop along the coast. On the coast, light to moderate wind from the south and, in the rest of the province, a light variable wind will predominate.

Alcoy: 10ºC to 22ºC

Alicante: 14ºC to 21ºC

Denia: 12ºC to 22ºC

Elche: 12ºC to 22ºC

Orihuela: 12ºC to 22ºC

Sunday November 19

It should be mostly clear again on Sunday with intervals of low clouds in the early morning giving way to bright skies in the afternoon. Both day and night-time temperatures will take a dip throughout Alicante, especially along the coast.

Alcoy: 12ºC to 25ºC

Alicante: 12ºC to 19ºC

Denia: 12ºC to 21ºC

Elche: 11ºC to 22ºC

Orihuela: 11ºC to 23ºC
