It’ll be a settled weekend’s weather in Murcia, but more rain is expected at the beginning of next week

Calm after the storm: Murcia weekend weather forecast October 10-13

As the rest of Spain picks up the pieces following the arrival of Storm Kirk this Wednesday, the Region of Murcia can expect its usual mix of sunny skies and temperate weather in the run-up to the weekend.

The latest prediction from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) forecasts dry conditions for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, but with plenty of cloud cover coming and going during the day and some foggy patches – especially on Friday morning.

Temperatures will remain pretty stable, getting up into the high-20s during the day and not dropping below the mid-teens at night, or even closer to around 19-20ºC at night in coastal areas.

The wind will have died down from the gale force gusts experienced this Wednesday, but another stiff breeze is expected on Sunday October 13, when windspeeds will get up to 20-25kmh along the coast for practically the whole day.

For the beginning of next week, however, more rain is expected to come along from about Monday evening onwards. While widespread, heavy rain is forecast for the rest of mainland Spain, only the dribbly, weak end of it should reach down to Murcia.
