Less than two weeks to go until the launch of Airport Buses: All the details you need to know
Airport Buses is set to launch its full transfer service to and from Murcia International Airport, a convenient, comfortable and customer-focused travel option for passengers

The countdown is on for the much-anticipated launch of Airport Buses, a new scheduled airport transfer service connecting the Region of Murcia International Airport with towns and urbanisations across the Region. With the first buses due to roll out on May 22, 2025, passengers travelling on flights to and from the UK and Ireland will soon have access to a reliable, year-round service tailored to their travel needs.
Unlike conventional public transport, Airport Buses has been designed with ease and comfort in mind. The service includes three scheduled routes and 60 stops, covering key destinations including Torrevieja, Los Alcázares, Torre Pacheco, Cartagena, La Manga Strip, Puerto de Mazarrón and more.
You can see the full list of stops and routes on the Airport Buses website.
Fares start from just €8.99 per person, with that price including one suitcase and hand luggage. There’s also a 5% introductory discount available for all bookings made before the end of May. Group bookings come with additional savings: 20% off for groups of four or more adults, 30% off for ten or more, and half price for children up to and including the age of 16.
Airport Buses guarantees peace of mind by timing each transfer to arrive at Murcia Airport two hours before flight departure. Return services won’t leave the airport until all booked passengers have arrived – and in the case of any major flight delays, additional vehicles will be dispatched. The service also includes text notifications before travel and upon flight arrival, along with live updates if delays occur.
Booking is straightforward through the Airport Buses website, which lists all scheduled flights from May 22 through to the end of October 2025. Local booking points are also available, and customers can reach the team directly by telephone on either 0034 868 353 207 (Spain) or 0044 204 577 17 07 (UK).
There is also a 24/7 emergency contact number – 0034 711 068 948 – provided for any last-minute concerns.
This is more than just a transport option – it’s a comprehensive travel support service that keeps passengers informed and cared for every step of the way.
With launch day fast approaching, travellers are encouraged to book early and secure their seat on what promises to be a game-changer for airport transfers in the Murcia region.
