Spain weather forecast Oct 26-29: Autumn sunshine continues with rain heading for the Mediterranean
High temperatures will reach 28°C in Seville, but rain is possible in northern Spain, Catalonia and the Balearic Islands

Temperatures expected on Monday afternoon, October 26
The weekend brought a mix of autumn sunshine and unsettled weather, with rain affecting parts of northern Spain and the Balearic Islands while much of the rest of the country stayed relatively calm. Temperatures also began rising on Sunday, setting the scene for a warmer start to the new week.
Much of Spain is expected to enjoy settled conditions over the next few days, with sunshine and above-average temperatures for late October. However, the far north will see some rain, while conditions could become more unsettled along the Mediterranean coast and in the Balearic Islands towards the end of the week.
Monday October 26

Sunny spells and largely clear skies will dominate across mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands, although early fog is possible in some inland and northern areas. Seville could reach 28°C, while Madrid is forecast to reach 23°C and Bilbao around 26°C. The Canary Islands will be cloudier, with calima and a chance of rain in the western islands.
Tuesday October 27

Most of the country will remain dry, with sunny spells and some high cloud. Rain is more likely in Galicia and along the northern coast, potentially spreading towards the Pyrenees later in the day. Temperatures may dip in parts of the north and west, while the south remains warm. Calima and possible showers will continue in the Canary Islands.
Wednesday October 28

Much of mainland Spain should stay settled, with sunshine across central and southern areas. However, cloud and showers are possible along the northern coast, in the Balearic Islands and parts of Catalonia. Rain could also reach parts of the south-east, including areas near the Valencia region. Temperatures are expected to ease in parts of the Mediterranean.
Thursday October 29

The eastern mainland and Balearic Islands could see more cloud and rain as the week progresses, while much of the rest of Spain remains relatively settled with sunny spells. Showers may also affect areas around the Strait of Gibraltar. The Canary Islands will remain warm and humid, with isolated showers possible on higher ground.
