Warm with some clouds and a few showers in places: Alicante weekend weather forecast October 16-19

No more extreme weather predicted over the next few days

Maximum and minimum temperatures are not expected change much between today and Sunday 

Although a few showers are expected over the next few days in Alicante province, they are only expected to be fairly heavy inland, according to state meteorological agency Aemet.

In general, there will be some clouds about and temperatures should remain stable and comfortable during the day and night.

As things stand, next week is looking like it will be sunnier.

Thursday, October 16

Hazy sunshine with some showers and storms inland this afternoon

Thin, high-altitude clouds will make for a sunny but hazy day, but thicker clouds are due to increase around the middle of the day, particularly inland, where they may be accompanied by locally quite heavy showers and storms in the afternoon.

Temperatures remain about the same as yesterday, with minimums around 16ºC and maximums in the low to mid-20s on or near the coast, but lower in the interior of the province.

Winds are light and variable, with an easterly component becoming predominant in the afternoon.

Friday, October 17

Some showers and storms in the afternoon again

A similarly hazy start in the northern half of the province but overcast in the south, with intervals of low cloud developing, and bringing locally heavy showers and storms inland.

There may also be some isolated but less heavy showers along the coast.

Temperatures should remain about the same as Thursday, and winds will be light and variable in the morning becoming predominantly south-easterly in the afternoon.

Saturday, October 18

Cloudy intervals and scattered showers in the afternoon

Cloudy intervals in the morning, with some scattered showers in the north spreading down across the whole province during the afternoon.

The later afternoon and evening should be dry but it is predicted to remain cloudy inland while the skies should be much clearer along the coast.

Very little or no changes are expected in the temperatures or winds.

Sunday, October 19

Mostly clear with more clouds inland moving north-eastwards during the day

Just a few clouds around most of the province but they could be thicker in the west in the morning, becoming very cloudy in the north and interior in the late afternoon.

Temperatures should be very similar, maybe with slightly lower minimums and warmer maximums in some areas.

Winds are forecast to be light and predominantly southerly for most of the day.
