From June 26 Torrevieja Pride returns with 9 days of celebrations
The celebrations will run until Saturday July 4 with events promoting diversity and inclusion

Torrevieja is preparing for nine days of Pride celebrations with a programme of cultural events, talks, performances and community activities taking place across the city.
Organised by Torrevieja Town Hall in collaboration with local association Torrevieja Diversa, the University of Alicante and other organisations, Torrevieja Pride 2026 will run from Friday June 26 to Saturday July 4.
The programme will begin at 11am on Friday June 26 with the traditional reading of the Pride manifesto outside the town hall. An information stand will also be set up in Plaza de la Constitución, offering resources and information related to sexual and gender diversity.
One of the main highlights of the opening day will be the Pride Gala at the Palacio de la Música. Starting at 7.30pm, the event will feature a performance of Little Family Secrets, a play written and directed by José Manuel Vidal and performed by local theatre company La Cueva de Melpómene. The production explores themes including acceptance, prejudice and family relationships through a mix of humour and reflection.
The programme will continue on Tuesday June 30 with a talk at the Virgen del Carmen Cultural Centre. Researcher and lecturer José Vázquez-González from the University of Seville will discuss how Pride events can create a positive social impact while helping to strengthen local communities.
Celebrations will culminate on Saturday July 4 with a large open-air event on Paseo Vista Alegre. Starting at 8.30pm and continuing late into the evening, the closing party will feature DJs, drag performers and lots of other live entertainment.
Organisers say the aim is to create an inclusive and welcoming event for both residents and visitors, celebrating diversity, respect and freedom in one of the Costa Blanca's most popular seaside towns.
