Temperatures climbing: Murcia weather forecast September 15-18
The mercury will soar back into the high 30s in large parts of the Region of Murcia this week

Summer isn’t quite ready to loosen its grip on Spain despite the fact that we’re rapidly edging towards autumn. This week will get off to a rather cloudy start in Murcia but aside from a couple of darkish mornings and very isolated showers, the Region can look forward to mostly sunny skies and decidedly summery temperatures.
Monday September 15
Monday morning will be pretty overcast but the skies should clear a lot by midday in most parts. However, dark skies will persist in the northwest, where there’s a slight chance of afternoon thunderstorms.
Temperatures will remain unchanged for now, hovering between 29ºC and 33ºC at the height of the day.
Tuesday September 16
Another cloudy start that will become mostly sunny by mid-afternoon. Temperatures remain unchanged for now although a moderate breeze could make it feel a little fresher along the coast.
Wednesday September 17
Wednesday will be mostly clear and bright with a smattering of high clouds at times. Day-time temperatures will shoot up into the mid-30s across the board, although coastal Cartagena will top out at a far more moderate 30ºC.
Thursday September 18
The forecast is much the same for Thursday, with partly cloudy skies, although daytime temperatures will continue to inch up across the Region. Light, variable winds tending to the east, with moderate periods along the coast in the afternoon.

- Tuesday September 16: Min 16ºC; Max 33ºC
- Wednesday September 17: Min 16ºC; Max 35ºC
- Thursday September 18: Min 17ºC; Max 34ºC
